Inspiring Philanthropy: Be the community’s trusted resource to disseminate philanthropy.

Strategies: 

  • Facilitate giving opportunities that are accessible to the full breadth of the local community and maximize the local philanthropic opportunity.

  • Maintain a high level of transparency on the impact of all funds invested through CCCF.

  • Maintain diverse pathways to give including financial gifts and volunteerism.

  • Foster local funding resources for local solutions.


Operational Capacity & Financial Stability: Commit to sustainable pursuit of our mission to ensure we are a permanent resource for the community. Be financially sustainable to continue our operations while being able to invest in our community.

Strategies:

  • Provide for the long-term financial future of the community foundation by maximizing funding opportunities in pursuit of our mission.

  • Efficiently manage the resources at our disposal to deliver on our core strategies.


Community Empowerment: Foster a strong, interconnected network of community organizations that are resilient and well resourced to effectively address community issues.

Strategies: 

  • Increase nonprofit effectiveness and efficiency through education, training, fiscal sponsorship, grant making, mentoring, consultation and other support.

  • Facilitate collaboration within the nonprofit sector.

  • Advocate for and support needed community solutions as determined by an engagement rubric.

  • Elevate the voices of the local nonprofit sector to be included in key decision-making opportunities.

Emergency Response: We are uniquely positioned to respond to emergencies quickly and effectively, so our community has a reliable cross-sector response as we know emergencies are going to happen.

Strategies:

  • Provide an opportunity for community members to donate in a way that directly supports their neighbors in a community crisis.

  • Provide a safety net of financial support that can be activated for the next community crisis
